Is this Australia's best Pinot Grigio?

Last year, the Norfolk Rise Pinot Grigio stunned everyone and won a trophy and 95 points. But this year it has gone one better and picked up two gold medals and 95 points!

But more than just wine show points, this is - most importantly - utterly delicious! Super fresh, crisp and tangy with flavour aplenty. The perfect warm afternoon drink!

Expert Reviews

95 Points - National Wine Show of Australia 2018
94 Points - Royal Sydney Wine Show 2018
92 Points - James Halliday - Halliday's Wine CompanionPicked over 3 weeks, tank-fermented and matured. The flavours of apple, pear and citrus are as they should be, but it's the work with lees that gives the wine the mouthfeel to lift it out of the ruck.

How's it taste?

Plenty of fresh apples and pears are complimented by florals, lemon and spice and a bright minerality balanced by a soft finish. Drink with fresh caught crayfish and salads. A true Grigio style - fresh, fruity and lively!

How was it made?

Plenty of fresh apples and pears are complimented by florals, lemon and spice and a bright minerality balanced by a soft finish. Drink with fresh caught crayfish and salads. A true “Pinot Grigio” style – fresh, fruity and lively!

Who made it?

Norfolk Rise is the best kept secret of South Australia, with the vineyard in Mount Benson only planted in 2000, and the first vintage off the estate bottled in 2002. The free draining limestone soil profiles and cool maritime breezes produce wines of exceptional quality and complexity, embodying the unique and magnificent terroir of the surrounding landscape.
