Tomich's Adelaide Hills Pinot Grigio has that great combination of breezy pear fruit and then life-affirming crisp acidity. It's not flashy, it's not sweet, but that's the gist here - you're diving, instead, into a wine that makes every afternoon feel like a cool breeze on a long summer's day.
Expert Reviews
Palish colour with a talcy, cashew-nutty aroma with a savoury seabreeze note. It's delicate and refined, intense and bright on the tongue, with crispness and length. A very fine wine and a top example of grigio style.
A well-balanced wine with a mix of white nectarine, lemon and honeydew flavours. It is bright and refreshing with delicious chalky acidity.

How's it taste?
Opening with nashi pear and green apples, the fresh minerality of our Pinot Grigio is the perfect food wine, finishing crisp and dry. True to the Italian Pinot Grigio style. Bouquet: Fleshy pear and nectarine aromas. Palate: Crisp and refreshing with a wonderful mix of fresh cut pear, nectarine and musk. Zesty on the palate with a stone‐fruit and pear and a fine finish.
How was it made?
100% Pinot Grigio from the Woodside Vineyard in the Adelaide Hills. Matured in stainless steel for freshness.
Who made it?
Established in 2002 by Dr. John Tomich and his wife, Vicki, this Adelaide Hills winery has a remarkable reputation for innovation and harnessing some of the best winemaking talent in the country. The fruit is sourced from their own 200 acres of vines located in the very cool Onkaparinga Valley in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. It is the largest vineyard in the region and is farmed using sustainable practices. Today, Tomich Wines is still family owned and operated with John's son, Randal Tomich, heading up the winemaking duties alongside consultant winemaker Ben Riggs.
