A medium to full straw hue announces the depth of Adelaide Hills pinot noir. Golden delicious apple and grapefruit meet the custard apple and creme brulee complexity of 2 years of lees age. Dry phenolic grip lends coarseness to a contracted finish. Low dosage is integrated and well balanced. Tyson Stelzer

How's it taste?
Dry and crisp in style with biscuity notes and zesty citrus characters.
How was it made?
These grapes came from the Lobethal vineyard which is a very cool site in a cool climate region (The Adelaide Hills), which is perfect for sparkling wine production. The other vineyard is at Nairne.
100% Pinot Noir, with two years on lees.
Who made it?
In 1890, Amos William Howard discovered subterranean clover thriving naturally in a picturesque valley in the Adelaide Hills. Howard Vineyard’s stone barn Cellar Door and premium red vineyard are located in Nairne, on the site of this original farm. Subterranean clover continues to grow at this site, restoring Nitrogen and ensuring the health and quality of the soil in this spectacular vineyard. 30km away, their high altitude (470m), cool climate white vineyard at Schoenthal (“Beautiful Valley” in German) is one of the Adelaide Hill’s finest sites for growing fresh, crisp Sparkling and white wines. It is these two unique vineyard sites that enable them to grow exceptional white and red grapes without compromise, and the Estate grown Picnic, Clover and Amos wines are renowned for their delicate notes and distinctive fruit purity. The winery is headed up by Tom Northcott. Tom oversees all vineyard and winemaking operations and his philosophy is simple; to make textural, cool climate wines that are light and elegant with a finesse that reflects the terroir of our vineyards.

It’s a dirty job but someone has to try all these wines for you and over the past 16 years as a Personal Wine Advisor I’ve tried a few! I like to try a wine twice as wine can often taste different in different situations. So if you still haven't found what you're looking for, here are a few that I have tasted recently that might suit.
