Even in the cool 2017 vintage, the Pure Clare Shiraz is a dense beast of a red, in the proud Clare Valley tradition. So much purple fruit that it feels like it goes on for days.

How's it taste?
Gentle handling in the winery preserves that natural intensity and gives a concentrated shiraz full of aromas and flavours of plum, blackcurrant and spice.
How was it made?
The Pure Clare Shiraz comes from 25 to 50 year old vines at the northern end of the Clare Valley which give small crops of deeply coloured and intensely flavoured berries.
Who made it?
Pure Clare is a label that comes from the brilliant winemaking team at Vickery Wines. Specialising in the Clare Valley staples, Riesling and Shiraz, Pure Clare aims to emphasise the best aspects of the region and terroir through vibrant and varietally specific wines.
